“One way or another, we all have to find what best fosters the flowering of our humanity in this contemporary life, and dedicate ourselves to that.” -- Joseph Campbell
Glass blowing first came across my radar in 1982. Since then I have travelled as far as Murano, Italy and Corning, New York to work with dozens of glass artists from all over the world. And through those artists, I’ve learned many techniques which I use to create the my pieces. I have been inspired by glass that dates back 2000 years in Rome and Egypt as well as contemporary studio glass work. My pieces are a synthesis of these varied techniques together with my own color and design. Each one of my works is unique and takes many hours of complicated steps to complete.
Sally describes her passion for glass, “I love the intersection of the precise, conscious steps with the fluid and unpredictable nature of the molten glass.”
A native of Denver, Colorado, Sally is also an accomplished interior designer. She has incorporated glass into many of her design projects and has worked on several custom commissions.
